About Us
Crosshairs Cycling was started in early 2012 by Bill Schieken. Bill is well known for all the great content, t-shirts and swag he creates under CXHairs.com. Knowing that his first and only love is ‘cross Bill started Crosshairs Cycling and hand picked a few people to come on board. What Bill didn’t know is that there were folks out there who liked what he did so much online they wanted to be a part of it in the racing world as well.
By July of 2012 Crosshairs Cycling was fully licensed by USA Cycling and had a host of sponsors from title to supporting. We have evolved into Crosshairs Cycling p/b Bike Doctor of Waldorf and continue to enjoy cycling one ride, race and hand up at a time. We are co-organizers (along with our friends DCMTB) of the only cyclocross race in Washington, DC, DCCX at the Armed Forces Retirement Home; DCCX is now a two day UCI C2 event with over 500 racers a day participating. We also organize a winter parking garage crit series Wednesday Nights Spins in conjunction with the Crystal City BID.
You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter and our outpost here the internet: CrosshairsCycling.com.
